My name is Katherine Havener. I am many things: a parent, a woman, a lawyer-no-more, a daughter, a wife, a student of truth, a writer, a leader, a friend. The most beautiful thing in my life is being a mother. I go to sleep each night and wake up each morning grateful to have been given the gift of motherhood.

Spirit has been whispering in my ear for months that I must write about parenting. In the quietness of nighttime, a constant flow of ideas pop into my head, keeping me awake and energized. I designed this website as a way to share my ideas with the world.

When it comes right down to it, my purpose with this website is to help children by helping their parents. My deepest desire is that children are brought into this world with more love, gentleness, and respect than they are now, and that this gentle treatment continues on throughout their childhood.
